Many Threads on aTm Defense...It Is Their Offense You Need To Worry About

Last year aTm owned House with a simple run game. If aTm takes this approach again, they could employ a strategy similar to Ga St early in the game where they limit possessions by going on long, clock-eating drives.
When (not IF), they have success doing this, JD will have to have another perfect game.
We have already seen two teams (Bama and Ole Miss) run an offense based off of 1-2 running plays an entire game without a single adjustment. We know how those turned out.
Jimbo sucks, but he did have his way with House last year. Yes, I know Jimbo is gone, but that also shows how bad House is.

I honestly hope Johnson plays over Henderson. Not looking forward to our "defense" making Jaylon freaking Henderson look like Jayden Daniels for 4 quarters.

Everyone owns House. They will have to win how they have won every game this year. Offense will score almost every time they touch the ball, and you hope they win the toss, defer and score at the end of the first half and beginning of second.

Every offense looks 10 times better against this defense. Hell Georgia State scored 1st 2 drives that should tell you all you need to know.

There's a very good chance this game becomes a shootout either way.

Absolutely, but I think this Offense can score on anybody, while anybody can score on our shitty defensive "scheme".
I also hate Matt House with a passion. Have to make sure I get this in there too.

That's what happened last year.
JD wasn't perfect. Had a fumbled returned for a TD.
A couple of key calls by the refs that stalled drives....
Then LSU got blown out. Same pattern in the following game against UGA, and then it carried over to this year...

I hate this because we owe aggie payback for last season and our defense is going to prevent this team from crushing aggie. I think we win in a high scoring game, but it would be nice if our D showed some signs of life and hold an opponent's offense in check.

I'll answer: it doesn't.
aTm could put a player in a wheel chair out there and House wouldn't be able to slow them down.
Whoever their QB will be Saturday is going to put up JD5 numbers IF they want to. However, I think they may go the other direction and just try to run the clock out.

Correct, this defense is not stopping anyone. JD5 is gonna have to be damn near perfect.

Ga State had the ball for 35 minutes in this game and scored 14 points.
Meanwhile, the offense had drives of:

0:40 (TD)

2:04 (TD)
Kill the clock all you want - this team can and will score quickly.
