Shrug off these dickheads. Many is a cool small town. There are a thousand more in Louisiana that you don't hear about
The hate is a stigma I can't grasp

Been going up there since I was a little kid in the 70's and I don't think I have ever walked the downtown sidewalks. But then we only went on Tuesdays because it was double stamp day. Nichols was a cooler store than TG&Y and the Radio Shack had the parts to fix the gokart I broke with some regularity.

Martone’s Italian ranks as some of the best Italian food I’ve ever. And I live in Houston with no shortage of restaurants

East of Toledo bend area in Louisiana is pretty underrated for La standards, most beautiful part of state imo

I do like those old downtowns though. It was a movie theater when I was little. At some point in the late 80's it became a live acting theater.

Family has a place on the lake so I have been going up there since the mid 70's.
