We are still dbu. Manny has a chance to become a good one. We are stacked at wr. The strongest position on the team by far.

Damn. We went from DBU to here almost overnight.

Lol, it's true but you get a ton of down votes for it. We HAVE TO move guys from WR, safety, etc just so we can have a two deep at CB. DBU will be manned by Greedy (only one with experience), Vincent, and a bunch of athletes.

Safety’s are dbs too and we’re pretty set there. We have one cb position to fill, we will be fine. Assuming greedy doesn’t disappoint

Why would his height be right & no one else’s is?

Did he camp anywhere outside of LSU? Like The Opening or something?

Realistic heights come out of those big events. He’s listed 6’3” on recruiting sites (which isn’t gospel).

Either way, happy we are doing something about the depth. He’s a good athlete with good CB size.

They are saying on the radio that this is a very bad sign regarding Fulton. "Lots of smoke".

It's funny how Fulton's return was pretty much assured around the time he was hosting Chase on his recruiting visit. But since signing day it's been the complete opposite.

And knowing the situation with Fulton it makes even less sense to only budget for 1 CB in the recruiting class.

That would be really bad.

We need him this year in a very bad way.

That thought did cross my mind too.

It's tea leaf reading, but there is some logic to it. I'm not going to assume the worst, but what I am going to assume is the Staff is hoping for the best but preparing for the worst in a timely manner.

Who knows, Netherly is one hell of an athelete. He might have looked at the depth chart, Chase/Marshall/Watkins, and went to the coaches and asked for this.

If I was Netherly and was confident about it, I would.

Would you rather be a WR in a crowded field in a program that is least known for it's passing game.

Or...

A DB with depth issues in a program known as DBU

The choice is obvious, if both he and the Staff are confident in his ability. Seems they are.

If depth at CB was such an issue - why didn't Coach O give Eddie Smith of Slidell a look? Seems like he was a late bloomer and was signed by Alabama.

Realistic heights come out for the combine only. And they are never right on team website, ya I’m a loser, I study that stuff.

Or just give the fricking scholarship to Goodrich when he tried to commit. Comedy of errors with this crew.

In 3-4 years if he’s lucky enough to get a combine invite, I’ll bump this to prove to you that he isn’t 6’3”
