Wth is wrong with all of these players? They're getting playing time and are an important part of our Fiesta Bowl winning football team.

This one makes sense. While he played in the bowl game, he was a HUGE liability.

Barring another scenario where LSU is just destroyed from a numbers standpoint at DB, he wasn't going to play here.

Honestly, when he transfers, I think there is a very high percentage chance he moves back to WR.

Dude we have to get down to 85 players. Take a chill pill. He was never gonna be that good anyway

I actually thought Mannie showed some promise in the bowl game, all things considered (ie pretty much not playing all year).

So do we have more than 2scholarship CBs left for spring? Or is Mannie still practicing and just putting out feelers? How does that work?

Don't count out the possibility that some of these guys are being processed, aka "recommended to look elsewhere."

Weird because I see Drake Davis in it. He wasn't there before, was he?

Eta: nevermind, he was already kicked off. He didn't count against the 85, did he?

Stop being a fickle, butthurt fan and try to see it from his perspective. Dude has busted his arse at LSU, switching positions to provide depth. He is down the depth chart and likely wouldn't get significant PT. This is a guy who has worked his whole life toward playing this game. He will not get another chance once the 5 year clock runs out.

I can't fault the kid one bit, and anyone who does is being an a-hole about it. There is even a chance that the staff let him know it is in his best interest.

We have a wealth of talent at DB, always have. We need to free up room for the trenches where we are dirt arse poor!!!

This is a good decision for Mannie. He can go somewhere else and get some playing time. The crop of DBs coming in has a day one starter with Stingley and another one that will see considerable playing time with Jay Ward. He'll get passed up on the depth chart.
