I remember from 2009-2011 seems so long ago now. That’s the last time the saints were the bully’s of the NFL. Physicality still wins in the NFL and yesterday was so far from where we need to be in that regard. I truly feel bad for Tyler as well. That pick lost us the game but when our running backs are going out of bounds 2 yards before the first down and not even attempting to put there shoulders down and fight it’s over for 2026 fellas. Kellen Moore has lost this football team and mickeys incompetence. Words can’t explain how lost we are as a franchise right now. Complacency is the reason why WE SUCK AND HAVE FOR A LONG TIME NOW. WHODAT always.

Offensively we were great, but we'd still get manhandled on defense a good bit. Beastquake in 2010, Vernon Davis in 2011. 2009 we just got a ton of turnovers.

Disagree. That pick kept the team from tying the game at 13, they would have kicked a 29 yard FG on the next play.

But Pitt went down and kicked another FG on the next drive, Saints would have still missed the FG to tie it at 16. And on the Saints final drive, they had to put from the 32 yard line, nowhere near close enough to try another long FG.

The Pitt showed Moore how you are supposed to close out games and held onto the ball for the last 5:52 of the game
