Calm down, why would we turn down an invite to play a pretty good Clemson team? It could be MUCH worse, look at the Outback Bowl. Heck, look at the Cotton Bowl if OU goes BCS...shite, even the Capital One Bowl is getting a 3-loss Nebraska team.

YAY NEW YEARS EVE AGAINST CLEMSON WOOHOO. who cares about that game. What a shitty way to end the year. Also such a slap in the face to our team watching a team we beat who we are ranked higher than go to a better bowl game than us.

Nothing good comes out of a game against Clemson. shite payout, non New Year's Day bowl against a consistently over-rated shite team that loses games like this every time they step on the field to play them.

This is exactly what I would expect Cotton Bowl officials to tell Aggie faithful, just prior to selecting LSU, even though LSU is the rightful participant.

Call me a negatiger but I don't see how the cotton bowl picks LSU over A&M to play against either UT or O/U if that's where A&m says they want to go. The cotton bowl is the big12 bowl, not the sec bowl of finisher #whatever.
While LSU travels extremely well getting LSU against an unranked UT doesn't have a ton of appeal nationally. Getting Johnny Football to play against O/U after having left the Big12 seems like a ticket and ad seller.

I was speaking about the cotton selection process in it's entirity. I would be very suprised if the cotton bowl picked LSU/OU and not have a Texas team at the cotton bowl if there were any chance they could get a Texas team.
