Awesome collection! Thanks for posting.

You call that a fan cave though, a little different from a man cave.

My first sports room is now my daughters bedroom lol. I closed in half the garage so I now have a bigger space (but still relatively small). How old are you Greg? I use my cave as an actual sports room, I have a tv in there, a couch, and I have four seats out of the PMAC that I have to get welded then they will go in there as well.

I have a few sets of tiger stadium seats and also alex box seats and bleachers. I just have to get around to making the brackets and stands for them. Id like to use the football ones for outdoor seating for BBQ's and such, while keeping a pair inside.

I posted my room many times. Mine is a man cave, yours is a museum. ETA: Not being rude, your shite is amazing!!!

Ive seen your post's in the past, you have some great items man.

Mine is a guest room kinda but mainly my cave... it does for now

The newspaper clipping with the game jersey is awesome!

Where did you get the glass case with helmets??

That one came from ebay on nearby listings. A business closing its doors so I went and purchased it.

Thats some impressive helmets and ticket collecting. I have alot of tickets that I have yet to make a decision on how to display. I plan on building on some land within the next year and Ive considered making a table (to go in the larger _____insert room description* than I have currently)with a glass top and have them just spread out in there.

i know exactly who you are. you and my dad used to collect together. heck of a collection. My dad's is pretty close to that, minus the locker and some of the trophies.

Your dad was a great person and friend. It was a pleasure to have known him. I think about him every time I'm at an LSU function or on hunt for a new item.

great stuff, the second best I have ever seen of LSU stuff (yours is best for helmets, balls, jerseys) I have seen one private collection with more game materials, footballs, programs and tickets back to the 1930's, etc 1,000+ of them, I would think the most valuable thing in your is the Deitzel book, heard they go for $1,000+
For those who are critical of the $ etc...they can pound sand, everyone has their passion and how you spend your $ is 100% up to you...

Do you strip the old paint off first? I have an old helmet my brother-in-law got for me several years back from a HS football team he was working with. I'd love to recondition it into a new one. What kind of paint do you use?

Good lord that's impressive. Never really had an opportunity to start a mancave. I only have my photos,a few signed items and a homemade Lsu all aluminum bbq pit . Smaller version of the football operations center pit (assuming they still have it)

Post a pic of the BBQ pit please. If it is the one I am thinking of it is still there by the practice fields. I think they break it out for coaching clinics.

That is the best LSU mancave I have ever seen, and the others aren't even close.

No I just use standard spray paint

The most important thing is to get some goo gone and get rid of all old decals and glue

Also take out all pads and remove all snaps and any metal pieces

Then when paint is dry put it all back together

There’s a really good YouTube video that taught me

Email me if you can’t find it

I’ll send it to you
