Don’t get me wrong, that’s bad arse having all memorabilia but I just couldn’t imagine spending the amount of money you must have spent to have that in your home. What would you estimate your total amount spent? Where did you get that replica Heisman Trophy?

So you have 14+ football helmets? At what point is enough going to be enough?

Not a big basketball fan??? I kidd sweet collection, do you have any YA Tittle signed helmets? And are those all game worn helmets?

Basketball is third behind football and baseball, and most of it is put up, however I have a pair of Tasmin Mitchell game worn/signs shoes and ben Simmons signed shoes (see 2nd photo, top shelf)

Many of the helmets are game used, others are replicas that I’ve gotten signed.

I do have a bit of tittle signed items including a 1/1 inscribed helmet.

Well I'd say it's more of a shine, but damn son.

LSU ringtones are definitely in there.

Great stuff! Which football helmet is that? I started out collecting lsu, saints, and Yankees memorabilia but it got to be too much (collecting so broad). I had to cut it back to just Lsu.

I also had to stop framing and rule it out completely because it took up so much space. I have some framed pieces at my office and others in the closet, everything else is bagged, boxed, and stored in the attic and closet.

That football helmet is something my dad and I made together back when I was in middle school. I’ve been holding onto it ever since, I’ve actually been looking into starting to make my own so I could get full size helmets signed like you have.

If you don’t mind me asking where do you get your stuff signed? At games? I know at baseball games you can wait outside the locker room and they would sign. Football is similar I would guess. I know one of the sports shops in BR has signings coming up with Chark and Key.

Are you though? Even if I had the money to spend (which I sure as hell do not), I would never want to spend it on all that. Congrats to him but I’d rather have a camp on the river and a bass boat.

You must have grown up wealthy, right? I just can’t think that someone would spend their hard earned money on 15 football helmets, 8 baseball helmets, a fricking life size baseball mannequin, etc. I mean, a Oakely display cabinet? Come the frick on...

It’s a good bit that I’ve spent. I look at it as a healthy hobby that doesn’t hurt anyone and gives me enjoyment whilst also holding value. I have the disposable income to do so, and it is also fun to meet new people and find new items. It started out as a bonding experience with my dad and has grown over the last 10 years. It’s just one of my many hobbies (updating my ‘armory’ is the next goal), and to each there own is my opinion, so long as it doesn’t harm anyone.

Each helmet is something different. Signed by a different years team, or specific set of players, or is a game used item.

The heisman isn’t a replica, but rather a copy of an original. A well known bronze sculpting company in CA got permission and the rights to produce less than 30. The Heisman Trust loaned them a real trophy to produce the copies. I purchased the last one several years ago. My dad and I then made the base and plate from the exact specifications (I found the plans online after a long search) of the heisman’s presented in the late 50’s/60’s. It weighs 30lbs easily.

I’m part of a hunting lease. My uncle and some friends have boats that I use. Some people would say hunting and fishing are a waste. I say whatever hobby makes you happy.
I spent a lot of my life in school and now I’m enjoying myself. This stuff took 10 years to acquire, not 1 weekend.

ITS Like a time capsule locker room. It’s badass but where the couch/bar/flat screen in your Man Cave?
It’s a sweet collection but dude, you have a mannequin dressed in baseball gear.
