Malachi Thomas its time for you to step up

If you watch him in practice videos and in the small sample of catches in the game. He seems to have very good hands and may even be a better natural pass catcher than Green, thats the extent of what he is better at. But he really could bridge the gap while trey dez is out if he can step up. This staff brought him in for a reason.

I trust Kiffin and Wiess to compensate for the loss of TG with other TE schemes. Don't count out the Grace kid, he is second team for a reason.

Roman Mothershed could be used as a red zone weapon if they will use his 6'5" frame like they should.
Grace and Thomas are good blockers but their pass catching and route running needs to be proven. Grace was wide open on that missed pass. He did a good job of that.
Hopefully they can utilize both of those guys as well as JD Lafleur to see who could be the best pass catching option. They are good blockers, just need to figure out who is the more reliable option in route running and catching the ball.
