Chi mistake was thinking he was on par with leonard and jamal

If he is off the board in the 4th he is still going to make more money over the next 4 years than people bitching here.

You have a point but if his progress at the end of the season had continued into next he's a potential top 10 pick. He may have left millions on the table.

Doesn't fight for ball. Doesn't use his size to leverage advantage against DB....could have used another year of weights and technique.
Anyway best of luck MD.

Odell Beckham, Jarvis Landry.
If your a good, you are good. Miles has had several wrs go early in the draft.
I remember we had this conversation about Ruben Randle. People blaming Jordan on his production. But he dropped passes when Lee was the QB. And it turns out he wasn't better than two freshman on that 2011 team.

He could have stayed at LSU 6 years and he still wouldn't sniff the top 10.

Rueben Randle in 2011 was 1000x better than Dupre ever was and he was drafted in the 2nd round.

Remember, the point is to make it past the slotted rookie contract to the second, more lucrative contract. A lower draft status but getting paid this year and starting the clock to the second contract could be better than no money this year for a little bit higher money next year and a one year delay in the clock running to the second contract.

And people blamed the offense and him having a shitty qb in Jordan Jefferson as why he didn't get drafted in the first round.
On the flip side you have people saying that Fournette and Adams would have been first rounder no matter what school they went to.
Just pointing out that people are blaming the coach when a player drops but refuses to give any credit when they get drafted high.
I agree with you that Rueben was a better player for LSU.

Can't believe people on here still defend that guy.
It's never been about the talent of the players or coaches. It's been Miles covering his own arse because of the Lee int year. He tried to help by simplifying the game for JJ and Lee instead of adopting spread concepts that both guys were skilled at in high school. The strategy worked except against power defenses ie big olines and backers. His stubbornness and fear of what happened in 2008 is what ultimately cost him his job. Hugh Freeze actually gets it offensively as his offenses are similar to what Urban runs. With smart QB play, they work very well.
Patterson is going to wreck shite this year.

So a guy who played lazy half the time, couldn't break press coverage, and dropped half the passes thrown his way is Les Miles fault. Some of you are so stupid!!!!

Always thought MD thought he was better than he actually was. Although many of us saw this coming, still hard to watch. We're still going to be OK at WR This year..

I hope I'm wrong but I think he goes undrafted. Feel bad for Dupre because he probably got fronted a lot of cash by an agent.

Maybe Dupree was just tired of LSU. Someone will give him a contract and he just might be a pleasant surprise, and I think he will be.

Premadonna? Do you know him personally? He's a very smart kid who will be drafted, play in the NFL, and prosper sadly in a way 99% of the population can only dream of.

Don't know about top 10. OBJ and Landry weren't top 10 and both had very good final seasons at LSU and an NFL QB throwing them the ball.

Top 10 nah... Higher than what he goes now, yes
