Wouldn't Malachi want to join the team and experience his first college football game?

what about the thousands of non-athletes who are on scholarship? why don't we test them for adderall and weed? for some reason its only the football team. the ncaa only tests for marijuana at bowl games; we're killing ourselves with this shite. i promise you that saban and sumlin dont do this.
I have no problem with Miles trying to run a clean program. Props to him for that. If you want to win at all costs go cheer for another school.

Robinson better get his shite together or he's going to go the same way Mathieu did.
IF it is drugs then the said thing is that he's likely not going to stop. He'll only try to figure out a better way to not get caught. Really, if you're a talented player what's the disincentive? TM got kicked off the LSU team yet, was still selected by an NFL team and was playing well until his injury. Sure he may have been drafted a little lower than he might have been otherwise, but the reality is that his legal troubles at LSU didn't prevent him from reaching the NFL. RR hasn't had 1/10 the impact TM had at LSU, but if his physical talent is good enough, someone will give him a shot to make a NFL team regardless of the issues at LSU.

chasing someone down and tackling them is against the law too. should we suspend everyone who does that? welter will be the only player on the team.

Oh, your one of those that disagrees with fact.

Let me rephrase it for you.
The football players have an agreement for being on the LSU Football team and one of those conditions is related to substance abuse (you know, illegal stuff). And if you violate that condition, you pay a price. It may not affect his scholarship, but it does affect his status on the football team.

Is it confirmed that Robinson is only suspended one game?

Except it isn't, at all.

Rather it be weed than grades. If it's weed, he'll be back. If it's grades, he may not stick around.

Pretty sure canes is more addictive

That is what I'm confused about. Is there a limit they can bring? I would think a player that was projected to play would want to go, even if they couldn't dress.

Yeah, and maybe we are helping these kids long term.
This notion that weed isn't a big deal has been destructive for too many young people. It's hard to find an article about any drug abuser that didn't start out smoking dope. It is addictive and, regardless of what research says, it certainly seems to be a gateway drug as well.
Also, not following these rules when they are clearly in place is selfish.

That's what they say. Curious how much difficulty people seem to have when they need to stop using it.

Malachi I don't get.. If he has an injury is he staying behind so he can do more rehab? Otherwise why punish the kid?
