Did you see what Pat Knight left him at TT, it was impressive to win 8 games. Just because the guy likes to have a drink every once and while doesn't make him a bad guy (not driving afterwards is a problem). They had maybe 2 Big 12 quality players on their team this year.

Drunk...

I'm not by any means comparing the two only stating that per capita we produce more nba players which means we have comparable selection of talent.....just in less #s......it really isn't a difficult concept....

8-23 records don't get you a better job, I don't care if his team was all blind kids.

We should just recruit two kids from U-High every year, we're guaranteed a Final 4.

No, that's not what that means. According to your link they have 33 NBA players. LA has 12.

How can you come to the conclusion there is a comparable selection of talent?

By sheer numbers, that simply cannot be true.

We won't even get into the quality of the players mentioned.

They have 3 times the population earl if we had 12 million instead of 4 we'd have 36 instead of 33! Are you drunk?

Did you not see the word "wildcard" before I mentioned his name. I was by no means indicating he was my first choice or even in the top two tiers. However, if comes down to Gillespie or an unproven Assit. Coach, I would take Gillespie. At least he has proven he can build a program out of nothing (see A&M) -- plus the LSU job doesn't exactly carry the demands that UK carries.

so how can the selection be comparable?

Earl, you truly are a scholar my friend..... our selection is better. They have more people. It's quite simple math bro....more people more players but if you take comparable samples from each we have more.....hence why we produce more per capita....frick you like to argue.

in a given year, if there are 3 five star recruits in Chicago, and 1 5 star recruit in all of Louisiana, who has a better selection of talent?

that is basically the ratio we are talking about.

Im done talking to your dumbass. you're hangover is going to suck tomorrow.

The answer to your question is lsu because we have 3 times less the population. Haha it's math bro...your inability to reason with math will hurt you for life. # s never lie....peace.

rick majeras---------utah and now st. louis

I really don't know just 3 coachs who have turned around their respective programs and its what LSU needs in a coach.

Tubby.

Doubt he'd want to come here, but I think we could do a lot worse.

In 5 year at MN, he's been to 4 Postseason tourneys. NCAA(2) and NIT (2).
