I think it’s more a sun/shade thing. East side had been in the sun last several games. West side has had many more people from my view.

I’m on east sidelines, it has been brutal. But too call people out is ridiculous. A lot of us would love nothing more than to be on that side in the shade.. but we can’t

You think other fanbases don't have fans that are in the same situation? Those aren't problems that are exclusive to LSU fans. I'm just saying, your one anecdote doesn't address the overall problem at all.

I don’t have a problem with calling people out. I think you have some responsibility to make sure that your tickets go to use because there’s plenty of people that would be willing to pay you to use them the whole game and be loud, particularly any SEC game even ole miss game was embarrassing at times.

Sun is a reason but not an excuse. It’s too easy to sell your tickets online now, if you can’t go make sure somebody does. If we schedules some nonconference cupcake then that’s understandable, tickets hard to sell, I get it.

Sorry for his sickness but can he give tickets away so that the seats are used?

He has given them away in the past. But for whatever reason--brutal heat day games, traffic insanity, prices for concessions, etc.--hasn't found takers this season. And like I say, he has been battling bigger problems than trying to make sure his tickets are used. This is a longtime season ticket holder in section 303 on the east side.

Tiger Stadium next week against Alabama will be peak atmosphere and it all has to do with the team and nothing else.

That’s the thing - it doesn’t look like most other schools have this problem. Stadiums on tv seem full esp SEC. the west side has a problem with sections 104 and 105 which need to be converted back to student seats like years ago.

Every school has this problem, it’s not just LSU. Our fans love to complain about everything. Go talk to visiting fans about TS, most will have all positive things to say.. we are spoiled babies

Am I the only one that thinks it is ok that you have to earn great atmospheres in Tiger Stadium?

Anyone who thinks our stadium and crowd are a hindrance or hurt recruiting in any way is a idiot. We have one the best crowds, stadiums and atmospheres in the country.

Remember that time a recruit said he wish the crowd was louder or wish the atmosphere was better? Me neither.

I gave up my season tickets in the south end zone because of the constant announcements. It never ends with the ads. It almost drove me insane. SHUT THAT GUY UP !!!!

It is up to us to make Tiger Stadium loud next weekend.

If you are a complainer just stay home. Some people will go anywhere and find reasons to whine and complain.

I have a blast every time I am in Death Valley, and I will leave next weekend's game with a sore throat and an empty flask after the game is over.

I sit on the west side so I see this plainly: Way too many ticket holders in Tiger Stadium lower east side either no show or arrive late.

I often sit on the East side but sit in various places in the stadium. You need to look in the mirror. The west side is worse than the east side for empty seats.

I wholeheartedly agree with you on this and I have floated some suggestions on here before such as deducting priority points or some other penalty for tickets not being used frequently. Lately it has been suggested by many to change the bleacher color to purple so they dont look so empty.

Wrong. A&M at 3-4 was packed last night. Auburn though struggling had consistent full attendance.

He could post on the rant and they’d be taken in minutes. Hope he gets well, too.

Let me know the commitment they have to their university as a whole.. the academic investment from their alumni is also huge. Have you been to auburn? There is absolutely nothing going on over there besides auburn.
