Now, I'm not saying we can't lose because going on the road to Auburn is never easy for us, but we certainly look like a better team on offense and defense at this point.

Defense, absolutely. Our offense has some sever issues with consistency that have been hidden by the shittiness of our opponents. Even tonight we had problems in the first half moving the ball into the end zone. If we wait until 5 minutes left in the 3rd quarter to find any sense of consistency on offense next week it's going to be Florida State all over again.

I hate to lose any quality player, especially a starter for any amount of time, but I suspect that Foucha is going to be an upgrade, and it probably provides some permutation wherby Harold Perkins, Jr. finds more snaps as well, so silver linings.

So you’re saying Burns is a star player

Burns has been really good since the first half of the FSU game. I don’t know what you are talking about.

Yes. Our offense has some gaping issues with consistency. If their defense doesn't tire our in the 4th, we aren't going to win that game. Our defense is the only thing that's going to keep us in there.

Auburn had 217 yard of total offense in an OT game against Mizzou. They are really bad off on offense. We scored points immediately tonight and had a ridiculous call that is never called on a rub route where our guy was wide open for the TD. That should have put us up 17-0 early (and we missed a FG of course).

Denbrock went tempo early tonight and used the intermediate passing game very effectively early (something he didn't do in the previous games early on), so we scored early and the game was never in doubt. And that was all without Boutte on the field drawing attention and leaving other guys open. There are still things they can obviously improve on, but they appear to be getting better and seem to do well when the OC calls the game according to their strengths.

Burns is soft and has been missing open field tackles all of last year and this year.

Did some of you not see the halfhearted effort he made on that arm tackle on MSUs first touchdown last week?

Come on the guy is named for Major Frank Burns on Mash....Foucha and Sage Ryan will both be upgrades

They were down to their 3rd QB. May not be the case next week.

You obviously didn’t watch that game today. Their staff is inept and their defense isn’t what it was. That team is close to checking out.

Burns has also been called the vocal leader of the defense and the guy that gets people in position pre-snap.

That is a loss for us.

Starter out for the year, Finley out another 2 weeks from reports…if reports are correct and my math is decent, I’d say solid chance we face #3.

Never underestimate this fanbase, especially the portion that hangs out here.

Auburn has major QB issues, Mizzou gave them the game twice. Our defense will eat their lunch. LSU by 14-17.

We will be fine. Foucha is back and Sage Ryan has looked good too.

Yep. Burns is a better overall safety because of this. Now, against Auburn. Foucha will do great. Tennessee on the other hand will exploit any coverage issues we have. Their WR corps is the best we will face all year.
