I don't think there's any problem with this team considering they are 21-6 (6-3) in the toughest league in the nation lead the damn league in K/IP and several other pitching stats, and HAVE NOT EVEN PEAKED YET, I don't think that Maineiri does anything wrong considering we made it back to Omaha last year when we weren't even expected too. THIS TEAM IS FINE. YOU'RE AN IDIOT. SO GO PLAY IN THE STREET.

I believe the catcher can go visit the pitcher an unlimited number of times. I'm sure you'd get the ump pissed (and a warning) if it happened too often though.

not when it matters most, the conference is very similar to Ole Miss, they'd fit right in.

nah, the ACC knows how to get to Omaha, they just don't know how to win it. Ole Miss can't even get the bus pointed in the right direction.

Not according to this week's polls. Georgia Tech and Florida State should always be discounted because they ALWAYS choke.

I think there are some fair criticisms of Mainieri to this point, but this is pretty ridiculous.

at this point in the season, he leaves them in and doesn't go out as much so he can toughen them up. same thing with the line up.

More times than I can count Coach Maineri will leave his pitcher in too long or start taking them out every inning, no matter how well they pitch!

Actually, you, me and coach has no earthly idea what will become of a visit to the mound before it happens. Only God and armchair QB's. He makes decisions on what a batter did last time around and convey's that to the pitcher and will discus how to pitch to the batter or ask how he feels.
