Obviously red zone efficiency will be hot topic in practice this week, but what do you think offensively is #2 weakness or issue we had last week to address in practice, defense obviously is fine.

I think the main focus will be running the same plays on offense again to keep the playbook hidden for moo state.

Kickoff coverage needs some work.

I think every week is an opportunity to get better and shouldn't be wasted no matter the opponent. So keeping it vanilla and running the easiest plays you have in playbook because you are playing Chattanooga isn't good IMO. I don't think you throw the play book at them but slowly should be implementing the offense you want to be kicking on all cylinders on Nov 4th.

I believe some depth chart changes are likely on offense. I believe we will start seeing more of CEH. No knock on Williams, I just think CEH j's a rare surprise find.

The M.O.for Canada is that he uses " this" to set up "that". So run plays that will establish that slight of hand technique to be used against better opponents. Film study will have them preparing for "this", then hit them with "THAT". As in, take THAT mofo.

Offense:

Go over the blocking schemes of all the "bread and butter" plays: aka all the plays we saw against BYU. Can't get enough reps of those types of plays, the goal line play where the lineman missed his block cannot happen again.

I'd like to imagine we'll go up big early so I'd like to think Myles will get some quality reps this week in preparation of him playing a good amount on Saturday. My guess would be maybe the entire 4th quarter but who really knows.

Danny can't get enough reps of throwing the ball, be it 7-on-7 or team drills. Assuming he's still trying to get rid of those bad habits he picked up while his back was hurt. After Chatt. he needs to be sharpe and ready for SEC play.

Defense:

Get some cardio in just to stay in shape. Aranda will have them ready no need to worry

I have to admit, Lsu first half offense looked kinda like Lester's.Guice over left tackle , next play Guice toss drive over right tackle. Maybe we are staying Vanilla until we open the SEC.

Need one of the big WR to step up and earn some playing time. Elements of the offense will be missing until we have a big body that can win on fades and Block physical safeties to help guice break loose.

Except it didn't. There was no toss dive ran the whole game and BYU was keeping only 6 guys in the box so running the ball was the smart thing to do.

Back up doesn't need reps. Our 1st offense needs reps to prepare for a national title run. Brennan will get his reps as Les Miles and his apple dumpling gang of qbs, and ocs are history. Steve Ensminger(sp) proved to be better than anything Les Miles hired for OC.
This will be precision tuning time for Coach O, coach Canada, and our starters, IMO

Main Focus should be get backup QBs real reps and not just hand offs. The more live action they get, the better we will be next season.

Miles seemed to always waste these opportunities.

Here's my pseudo-prediction:

These smaller teams know they are probably going to lose, hence have a "no fricks given" attitude show up at some point. They will take risks and try to sell-out. Unlike BYU.

Then we will see Canada in his true form. He will adjust to their adjustments, and the creativity we are all wanting to see will show up. Maybe just a creepy peek around the corner, maybe full on exposure... or somewhere in between. But nevertheless, it will show up.
