If it's true that Mahtook looked fine in class today I wouldn't be surprised if it's some violation of team rules thing that Mainieri wanted to keep hush and will probably keep him out until Ole Miss.

someone told me this was never mentiones on manieri show tonight and when mahtook was brouhgt up the coach praised his play but no talk of this. we need him in oxford

He mentioned it at the very end when talking about the challenges this week. Just said that he was out for the two midweek games and would hopefully be back for the weekend. Whatever it was, he was fighting through it this past weekend.

You guys think KK has the mobility to be a decent outfielder?

KK played left field in the fall.

I was in right field bleachers yesterday. Mahtook looked visibly tired and kept working the shoulder after he was hit. He also hit the tarp pretty hard going for a foul ball. Manieri could just be playing it safe and wants to be sure he has him at 100% for Ole Miss.

I have a sneaky suspicion that we see Ranaudo in his old form friday. He's an "it factor" guy and I'm sure he'll be pumped to compete against Pom. Just a feeling for a 7+inning double digit K 2 or less earned kind of game.

Agreed, knowing he has little margin for error, I think he'll pitch that way. Thought he pitched pretty well last week.

i dont doubt manieiri is keeping him out due to getting plucked on the shoulder.... might be a deep bruise but im sure he'll play friday maybe not just 100%

he pitched alright, but more importantly he corrected some of the things that bothered him, ie curveball control

he really did and he just got screwed with a call, otherwise he just gives up 1 or 0 runs.

it seems when he gets pumped up his fastball is high. hope he can keep it down and limit the walks.

It has been sailing high the last few weeks. I feel like he's gonna have a great game Friday.

true he did. the play at first was bang bang. couldve gone either way. the play down the line was fair. this all per my friend watching it on tv.

i was still in the parking lot listening to it on the radio and hawthorne and hanny were pretty adamant both calls were clearly wrong so i dont know what to believe.
