Jones likely won't be the Bama QB when they play LSU. If the season plays at all this fall. He is a backup, or practice player at best. Did you see the Auburn game? The tendency is always to blame the QB but this guy threw 2 pick sixes, one from he AU 2 with first and goal. That's a 21 point turnaround. He absolutely threw his team under the bus. He's a mop up guy with the freshman the starter, which brings on more talk.

It was probably a fluke. How often does a pass bounce off a receiver’s back directly into the DBs arms?

What an odd thing to say in defense of a QB.

Might well Bryce Young be the RTWFU QB by the time we play them?

Brennan. He's waited, he's learned, he's ready. Also, I'll be damned if I ever cheer for/pull for a Gump...

Brennan. Dude is poised and ready to wreck shite and I cannot wait. Jones will be good, but Brennan is gonna absolutely unleash this year.

uh, here are Jones' stats the last two games, both against elite defenses: Auburn (17th in yards/play) and Michigan (10th in yards/play):

Auburn
26-39
335 yds
4 TD
2 INT
162.4 Rating
89.8 QBR

Michigan
16-25
327 yds
3 TD
0 INT
213.5 Rating
95.3 QBR

I thought Jones looked pretty good TBH. He made some rookie mistakes (expected)but you gotta think he gets better.

Can't wait to see Brennan. I think he's gonna rock-out.

There’s a possibility he plays some, much like Tua his freshman year. Knowing Saban, he’s going to play the guy with experience in the system unless there’s a huge talent disparity. Mac will be the guy barring injury.

What is your argument on why Brennan is better?

Because I'm an LSU fan, and I don't like Bama. Don't need much more of an argument. You can't make one that would be a whole lot better either.

What good are comparison of team stats when they play no common opponents.
When we played Ohio St in 07, they were statistically the best defense in the country. Flynn led us up and down the field all night long.

Last season, Clemson was the top rated defense.
Compare our offense vs Clemson and vs Auburn.

Maybe Michigan's defense is not equal to Auburn's.

I believe Brennan will have a better season than Jones.
