First year post acl is frequently a bust. A lot of players play nervous that they will reinjure the knee. Hopefully Perkins will be back to form.

At least its a Champion Knob. You and like minded individuals are slobbering over career pretender wannabes.

I watched and dreamed of an LSU Championship for about fifty years before Saban finally made us a Champion.
It was tiresome watching Macs three yards and a cloud of dust offense. Then we went through loser after loser, Hallman, Dinardo...

Saban said, when asked why he left Michigan State, His answer, they (M State) never indicated they wanted me to stay. After observing LSU Admin, all those years, I wonder if that was the reason he left LSU. Maybe 100 million or some lesser amount would have kept him at LSU.
Then a "dumb guy" named Orgeroin in three years built and coached the best team in the history of the NCAA, He brought in the best QB, possibly now in the NFL. He recruited a player the previous HC was going to play at CB. Instead, his staff turned him into the best WR in college and maybe in the NFL. "But it was just luck".
Now we have a Football "Genius". You are Slobbering that? Fifty years of coaching, Satchel of money to buy players, and after three years we are playing Baylor in a no name Bowl. We are still, using a "Dumb arse Coach's" recruit at QB.
The NFL is full of Orgeron recruit WRs, making highlight plays every week. Name the WR All Stars, we have recruited and developed, in the last three years. Name a Kelly recruit at any position that would have started on "19" team.

Yep, that was basically a big reason why it made sense for him to return. Beyond working with Bo for an entire year, he should’ve been regaining his explosiveness just from being back to 100% healthy. Could’ve been a first or second round pick this year.

You could just really tell he didn’t have any explosiveness last year. He didn’t really blow anyone off the line in pass rush or run stopping situations and frequently got knocked back. I’m assuming he’s improved on that for him to be having success now.

Seems that our lack of continuity at D line coach did this young man a disservice.

The coaching situation didn't help but his injury had much more to do with his lack of production at LSU.

Man, yall read one article and think he's doing great. He's been a healthy scratch in 7 games this year.

Same with Danielle Hunter. Physical specimens who didn’t produce as much at LSU but wrecking the league

There was an article when he first signed with the Vikings where they basically flat out say he wasn’t taught a single thing about playing DE or rushing the passer while at LSU

That was the era where we would tell him to set the edge and never chase the QB
