I like Lynn, and I know he's trying his best not to be boring, but his over-enunciating of his words bothers me so much to the point that I've actually turned the tv off and listened to Blair on the radio. It can't just be "second," its GOTTA be "second-duh"

Lynn is goofy but overall he's pretty good for a college team's designated baseball announcer. If you've watched some of the LSU away series you'll see their versions and I'd say Lynn is at worst as good as those I've heard. He and Ben are probably the best sec home duo. Obviously not as good as one of the prime time broadcasts, but I appreciate it. It could be a LOT worse.
I've never really minded his silly similies/sayings. They're usually so ridiculous that they're comical.

Put me on the plus side for Lynn as I find him entertaining despite pronunciations that others seem to find fault. He and Yvette are also a winning combination in softball. We're lucky to have them!

Yvette is absolutely fantastic on TV. LSU is extremely lucky to also have Chris Blair and John Brady in addition to Rollins and Big Ben. I would think that there isn't a much better group than that anywhere in the country.

Baseball can be a bit boring at times. Lyn and Ben make for an entertaining 3 hrs. At least we haven’t gotten any lyn Rollins hates LSU post yet

I typically like when Lynn calls our games but Saturday night, when he kept going on and on about the army guy who stuck his elbow out on the pitch and was called out and saying it was a bad call, I was about to lose my shite.

I wish espn would let them do a regional/super. .not every game but one would be great. Yes I know McDonald's on espn & Rollins maybe not as "slick" tv guy but he knows lsu baseball better than anyone at espn except McDonald.

I agree. McDonald & Rollins make a great team. After listening to the other announcers for some of the away games through the years, they are the best.

Personally I can't stand Listening to games Rollins is calling. I'm sure he is a good person and I am not trying to be an arse but something about his voice irritates me and with that on top of the dumb stuff he comes up with makes me just want to turn to volume off.

Some of his stuff is trite or sounds like he's trying too hard. He has a good voice.

I like Rollins and his delivery.
Providing play-by-play commentary is very difficult. Turn the sound off and try doing it from your sofa for three hours. You'll gain a new found respect for those who do it well.
Guys who do hockey are an absolute marvel.

Question of Marceaux and how the Tv guys pronounce it
Is it really Mar-so?
I’ve always heard marso. Without a break in it. They seem to have a pause after the “mar”, with a hard “so”.
I know tons of Marceauxs but they’re all coonasses so maybe they don’t know how to pronounce their own name
