Doucet is right. Miles is very predictable. Teams seem to know every running play he calls.

You are only as good as your current status, and that is how business goes. The offense has issues, changes need to be made to accommodate the current personnel and fans will be happy with a competitive team.

The offense isn't even competitive anymore. It's a problem whether you acknowledge it or not. The defense and ST's carried this team last year, and it's exposed this year.

Roger some fans just don't get it and only believe in fixing problems when they arise not before they happen. Some fans still don't believe there is a problem to fix.

He is 19 - 2 in his last 21 games. I would say it is working.

I'm one of the biggest backers of Miles, but I am so frustrated with him right now.

Our game plan is the same thing it's been since week 1. We can't convert on 3rd down. We're way too predictable and conservative.

You can't, can't, take a gameplan for Towson/Idaho, what have you, and apply that to an aggressive team like Florida, USCe, etc. Do that and you got the abomination we had this past Saturday.

Our defense is keeping us in every game. Chavis has his guys ready. So what's the OC doing with his guys? It's a fair question.

Like the Top 10 since the 7th week of the 2010 season, current SEC Champs via 9-0 record, 18-2, 10-1 in our last 20 games, and BCSCG player 2 times in the past 5 yrs?

Yeah, I'm pretty freaking happy with that kinda record. 5-1 and Top 10 NR after 6 games with the injuries to starters we have had is not all that bad either at this point in time.

Those "others" don't seem to know that we play in the SEC where is no continual "best", but there is among the very best which is where LSU can be located.

Huge +1. I want this playbook for the last 6 weeks to be dropped in a trash can and set on fire.

Come out and go for the throat.

Maybe the problem isn't fixable this year, I don't know.

As long as the team can work around it, everything will be fine in the short term. I suppose that is the question more than anything else.

I agree, but you aren't grasping the main issue here. LSU isn't that good.

Our offense has grown stale. It's been that way for quite some time now. Good, competent coaches and defensive coordinators can formulate schemes to defend it now. We're lifeless with our offensive scheme and it has shown for quite some time. The lack of creativity is astonishing. We move the ball and score based on pure muscle, athleticism, etc. alone. It has absolutely nothing to do with the play calling. I can't think of the last time we really fooled someone with out play calling and caught them off guard. You'd probably have to go back to the West Virginia game last season with that play action pass on 3rd and 1. Before that...maybe the reverse to Deangelo Peterson against Alabama in 2010?

So in your opinion the coaches have no reason to demand/want/expect more from the players since we have already reached an elite level?

And vice versa the fans shouldn't expect more from one of the highest paid staffs in CFB?

Our chance to win is to play field position, score 14 pts and count on the defense.

We're doing that now. The offense needs to get the stick out of their butt and do their part. The defense can only do so much. They aren't superheros. They will run out of gas, just like they did in the Florida game, just like they did in the BCS CG. When they're out there for 45 min of a 60 min game, that's too much to ask of anyone.

Ahh..I see. The prospect of an off season is fine, because of past success.

I suppose there is no need for anyone to frequent a message board to discuss the issues with the season at hand.

I don't know either but continuing to do the same thing over and over doesn't seem to be the answer. I jsut would like to see our staff counter what the defense does to us....the defensive staff makes adjustments when plays are hurting them.

this was prevalent against Florida for sure. They were at the right point of attack nearly every run play. Like they had the play call or something.

The first drives (vs Auburn and UF) looked promising. The defense adjusts and we seem to abandon that part of the plan.

Looks like this may be a big play offense, maybe take a few more shots deep during the game for multiple reasons.

It doesn't make sense. If the other team makes adjustments it's checkmate. If the offense had just moved the ball for a few first downs in the 3rd quarter I think we shut UF out. The defense got tired.

Exactly. We're way too predictable. Anyone who has seen us play just a little on offense, knows what we're going to call.

Why? Because it's the same plays we've been using since week 1. Play conservatively, wait for the other team to shoot themselves in the foot and lose the game for us.

No adjustments on our part at all.

Nothing. No adjustments depending on who we're playing, how we played in the first half, and so forth. Just stick with what's not working.

People are pissed becuase he ain't doing anything with the great recruits he has landed. And quit talking about what he has done that shite is in the past. I've been pretty damn supportive of him since he has been here. I even believe he did a great job of coaching during the Lee/JJ years. But it is time for everyone to open their eyes. This offense is rediculous it is laughable and LSU is being laughed at. He has no clue as to how it can be fixed.
