The host sites are announced on Saturday. The SEC tournament doesn't end until Sunday. Unless the NCAA committee has a time machine LSU hosting a Regional isn't going to happen. I'd love it to happen, but I'm not counting on it.

I believe it's before the game Sunday, not Saturday.

Saturday is 930a so no way it beats the game on Saturday. 3-0 could get it done too.

The want the big crowds for TV... don't count anything out with the NCAA money machine in motion.

I'm sorry. You are correct about the site selections on Sunday and the field on Monday. I know in the past the hosts have been announced before the SEC tournament has concluded. I see now the host sites are to be announced Sunday afternoon. Thank you.

Just an FYI...when asked of chances for LSU hosting, Mark Etheridge replied with "No chance"

UNC finished the season pretty well. Won 3 of their last 4 ACC series including 2 sweeps but the 1 they lost they got swept. They seem to have had a reverse year from us starting out slow and finishing strong. They, however, did not make their conference tournament which really hurts them.

Looking at their stats this year they seem to have decent hitting (.310) with lacking power (40 HR) though. Their pitching seems pretty solid. Starters have 3.xx ERAs and plenty of relievers with sub 5 ERAs.

I don't know much about North Carolina's team this year but GD this group sure looks like hell.

FWIW ... UNC didn't even make the ACC tournament. It's a sad time when LSU fans fear UNC in any sport but basketball.

Louisville (6 overall seed)

I would love to be in this regional... Esp with the super regional pairing... Guys remember we are a much better team than our record and RPI shows... FRESNO STATE won a CWS by being a #4 seed in a regional!!!

The Tigers will be in Blatt to send it off the way it should be!!!!

That would be really confusing for ULL fans if they won the Auburn regional and played Louisville in the Supers

it would be just another reality check that they are ULL and not UL...
