mediocre is actually too much credit to them. I do not understand how two QB's combined can not pass for 100+ yards a game.

Instead of a 51 pt W, I'd like to have seen at least 20 attempts by each QB. The pass game really needs the kinks worked out and I don't see the effort from a playcalling perspective.
Up 23 at half, this was our chance to throw caution to the wind and let 'er rip.

The deep balls they threw tonight (except for the one Lee threw to Randle in the endzone) were way, way off. Some of the intermediate passes weren't great but were dropped and should have been caught.

Sigh..... Terrible? 9-1 equals terrible QBs? Frustrating at times, sure. But terrible? Wake up, dude.

Going into tonight LSU was 112th in the nation in pass ypg, 101st in passer rating, and 116th in passing TDs (only ahead of UCLA and Army). That's pretty terrible

Our QB's are mediocre at best against a high school defense.

Yes terrible with the occasional good play mixed in.

This is football and college at that. While the qb is important, it's not like LSU would be the first team to mask bad qb play with better overall team talent.

As bad as crowton is, if he had a good qb the offense would be decent see 07. Don't get me wrong the fact that crowton can't develop a qb means he has to go but there is just nothing there to work with in JL and JJ

And my point all along is how do you expect ANY coach to do ANYTHING with JJ. He struggles on all throws or pitches regardless of distance. He has struggled hitting guys behind the line of scrimmage.

Considering their whole body of work, I don't see anything mediocre about our quarterback play. I would put it in the high end of poor for the most part.

Sure about that? Both these guys were 4 star recruits. Just wouldn't expect both to be this bad.

These two QB's can only aspire to mediocrity. With a couple of mediocre QB's LSU is playing for an NC in January. What we have is a couple of less than mediocre QB's and an offensive coordinator who needs to be run out of town along with the OL coach.

It's" they" when JL sucks.LSU is not in the SEC champs picture, because J J wasn't allowed to finished a Dam strong performance in the Auburn game .Why because LM, threw a brick upside the negative fans head and hid his hand. You doubt his QB dicision. Then boom, LEE finishes inspite of no thing productive under the kind of attack he's never been able to handle all game. Also,LM eliminates the culminating frenzy attack on him,if it's a loss and JJ' s finishes. So then he could play the QB who could handle BAMA.

QB's looked horrible, and have been horrible for a long time. I'm not sure if it's the system/Crowton, or whether they're just not SEC caliber QB's, or a combination of both. Team is incredibly talented, and can win in spite of that.

Your whole post sucks. Where to begin?

quote:

because J J wasn't allowed to finished a Dam strong performance in the Auburn game

Oh yea, the one where he threw an awful pass that was picked off, and then resulted in 7 points for Auburn? How much did we lose by?

quote:

a Dam strong performance in the Auburn game

46 yards is a "Dam strong performance?

quote:

So then he could play the QB who could handle BAMA.

I guess you're ignoring the role JL played in this game? Had JL not made that clutch 3rd and 13 play, we may not have that win.
