Why? Just curious.

Wait. Not too impressed? By the play of the team or the coaching?

I mean, the players are not of a super high caliber. But, they are very well coached. That much is obvious.

Napier hasn't accomplished anything. He's been a head coach for 3.5 years in the Sun Belt. His biggest accomplishment is a win in the Lending Tree Bowl.

And yet for some fans this is apparently the best we can do. Fortunately our AD is a bit more aspirational.

I'd prefer not to hire down again like we did with O. Get a big hire and bring Napier as a coordinator.

If this guy wasn’t coaching an hour from BR nobody would give the time of day to hiring him as LSU’s coach. Frankly, it’s sad and a display of the same mindset that led to Ed’s hiring.

If LSU gets to Napier its because big names have said no. Woody is going big game hunting. Napier may be great at a power 5 school, but it won't be LSU

I’m not shilling for him. But, South Carolina and Auburn wanted him and he isn’t coaching an hour down the road from them.

He is a good coach

I will say his team looks prepared and well coached. Plays seem to get called with what appears to be coherence and planning.

And, no time outs needed to save delay of game penalties.

If I had to pick between them, I'd easily take Kiffin.

But ultimately I don't want either one of them.

he can actually develop a left handed QB.

Won't need to when MJ is replaced next year, or this year by Brennan

The same dipshits wanting a Louisiana based HC are the reason we got O in the first place. Just because he’s successful at a lower tier program close to BR doesn’t mean he’s the best candidate in the country.

So what’s going to be your response when he goes to Ole Miss after Woodward whiffs and hires Kiffin and Napier continues to dominate us.

You have to go to the Bowl where your conference has tie ins.
They went 11-1 last year.
You can't make the new year six bowls give you a birth.
I don't know what else you want the man to do. They drilled Iowa st last year, yet Iowa State got invited to the fiesta where they beat Oregon
