10-2 first year with Napier, maybe even 11-1 for the regular season.

He’ll probably settle for a visor

I agree, just think of what this man could accomplish at LSU with top tier talent on his roster

I will say his team looks prepared and well coached. Plays seem to get called with what appears to be coherence and planning.

And, no time outs needed to save delay of game penalties.

Lots of potential with him but also don't forget about a guy like Herman or Sumlin for that matter. There's no guarantee that he will carry that level of success to LSU.

They tackle, block, fill gaps, run crisp routes.

Coaching is good

And he can actually develop a left handed QB.

so far I really like how the Cajuns are playing on both sides of the ball.

Never mind. They had to punt.

I’m off the bandwagon.

I mean, Napier is the obvious answer. Anybody that disagrees doesn't follow football at all and just sees names on a checklist

We might need to give him time and our fans are notoriously impatient, so I hope he gets all he needs

And don’t forget about Matt cambell at Iowa st who came from Toledo, cristobal who was fired while coaching in the sunbelt now at Oregon and Dave clawson from bowling green who has made a horrible wake forest team formidable. If your going to speak of the bad ones talk about the ones who have succeeded also.

Probably correct.

But, I believe Napier would be terrific.

Kiffin, Napier, Fickell, Freeze - all would have great success at LSU

Id argue anyone who blindly wants napier doesnt follow closely enough. He doesnt make analytically sound decisions quite a bit

That’s kind of the point, though. Too much of a coin flip.

I’ll take Jamey Chadwell at Coastal Carolina over Napier any day but neither would be my choice

I am aware sometimes it does workout well. I would be curious to see the ratio of success vs failure on high profile coaches who go straight from lower lvl HC to a P5 HC. My only point is that it's more of a gamble when you pick someone like this vs a proven HC.
