1) bob stoopes is a shitty coach. In a game with no playoff losing three championship appearances badly says more about your conference then how good you are.
2) OP how is 3 coaching debacles a bare bones look? but hey your just giving the facts. whats the 3rd debacle, i will give you ole miss, and Tennessee

I love how you "realists" base your argument on what might have happened (a play here...a play there). A realist, by definition, should base their argument on SOMETHING REAL!!!!
Do you think we weren't lucky 2003? We didn't get into the bscnc until the LAST bcs poll. Do you think that luck, good or bad, is not part of the game?
If you want to go undefeated every year, with style points, move your arse to Boise and play a schedule of glorified high school teams.
There are a hell of a lot of coaches that would take his record in any league. There are even more that would take it in the frickin SEC West.
Of course I was upset after Ole Miss and TN. But you'd better learn to enjoy it or life is going to pass you by.
Your sanctimonious position is your poor attempt to portray yourself as a more knowledgeable, holier than thou, pure as the driven snow fan that has such high standards because you, and only you, know true quality. In fact, it shows your lack of understanding of the game and your own feeble attempts to bolster your own ego due to incipient self loathing and self doubt.
