There's no agreement. He was talking out of his arse to save face. He has no say in what CBS and then ESPN decides to air and when. He can strongly say something but probably falls on deaf ears.

For 7 years I drove in from Atlanta for games and then turned around the next day to go back home.
People drive in from Shreveport, Houston, Funroe on game day and places further away.
There shouldn't be any 11 a.m. games anywhere!!!!!

There is a really easy way to solve this. Everyone pony up the money the SEC gives us year after year. Then, we simply leave the SEC and negotiate with our next conference that all home games do not start before 6pm.

2:30PM on the other hand makes you look like an idiot....it is the damn game of the week for the SEC...THE BEST SEC GAME OF THE WEEK. How can you not want your team to play in this game every week....it typically means you are one of the top 2-3 teams in the SEC period (of course this depends on bye weeks too). LSU has historically created awesome atmospheres and had huge crowds for 2:30PM CBS games....arguing against them is stupid, dumb, ludicrous, and any other adjective for idiocy that you can come up with.

Works for me. I don't have to cook a bunch of food the day before or Saturday. I also will need a little more whiskey brought into stadium. It's gonna be game dogs beotches!!!! and possibly a nice dinner somewhere after the game.
