Also I am a firm believer that losing Chaisson game one changed our season. He is a massive talent.

I agree but our offense will lose 2 games once again

I've been an O supporter this entire time. If we don't go 11-1 and make the the playoffs next season, I would start shopping around for a new coach.

I see 10-2, at best, with Utah State being the "trap game".

If LSU ends 11-1, with their only loss to Bama, it will be a NY6 bowl.

LSU will never make it to a playoff without winning the SECCG. The sooner you all get that in your heads the better off you will be.

I agree. Only loss to Bama. Good shot to make playoffs.

Still make the playoff for sure with only loss to Bama. Then we can Bama Bama.

If LSU wins at Florida and aTm this year, there's absolutely 0 doubt that we'd be in.

11-1 Record or Better Likely in 2019

LSU hasn't won more than nine games since 2013, this HC hasn't EVER won more than nine regular season games in his coaching career, and we have had defeats we shouldn't have had for the last three years, but next year we win eleven or more?

That would be fine with me, but I don't see it happening with this HC or OC or AD. Nothing they have done in three years suggest that happening.

LOL.

If OSU and Oklahoma win their conference championships it is going to be Bama, Clemson, ND and one of those.

If Bama loses the SECCG, they are already lobbying to put them in anyway with UGA.

So, no. LSU would be left out and the reason would be we didn't win our conference. If you even think for a minute LSU gets the benefit of an "eyeball test" you need help. LSU is NOT a Tier 1 brand in the eyes of the media.

Know your place, my friend.

With the talent coming in and huge improvements to the OL

Who is going to coach them? Because right now the coach is doing a shitty job. They have gotten worse as the season progressed. The OL was supposed to be better this year due to an influx of talent and another year of experience. Why take the same blind optimism other than Kardell Thomas looking like a Freshman All American? He can't play all 5.

I think we take AU at home for sure, simply due to the history of the series.

As for UF and aTm...

O hasn't beaten Mullen yet.

He will be outcoached in both those games. Period.

Talent will have to win them. I too think we are capable of sweeping, but likely won't.

Losing White and Greedy will for sure sting, but having seen our young guys play, I am not worried at all.

LSU should have won 10 games twice since 2013. Weather/cancellation of games messed up 2 years of that

LSU should have won 10 games

Anyone can win ten games at LSU. I remember seeing that typed here a lot when we had staffs who won ten or more. It's not typed here as much lately. I am not sure why. Now, ten wins or even nine is a special achievement.

I agree. I predicted 10-2 this season, but they did not live up to expectations. I see no reason why O should not win at least 11 games next season.

Like saw us having a 10-2 regular season before A&M?

How could you possibly have downvotes? Someone started a thread that the sorriest human on the planet is the non-alumni Bama fan living in LA and I have to disagree. They are pitiful little people I admit, but they are better than the so-called LSU fan who hates Miles, O, (insert name of coach that they didn't pick) so much that they would rather the coach fail than the program thrive. Ya'll suck hajicock.

The real question is how do you beat Bama? If the talent level is about equal, you can try to beat them with your normal game scheme, since I think if you are that good the SEC won't cheat too much, since it would benefit regardless of who wins. But if you are not quite as good, you have to have a special quarterback or a strange sort of offense like the option, and a damn good defense. I don't know if Joe is that special quarterback. Have not seen it yet. What I mean is that without something we have not seen from the offense, we don't beat them. LSU is basically at least equal in talent with everyone else, and significantly better than most of those teams in talent.

Because the lsu board isnt team specific. Fans of any team can post or vote with impunity on here. For all we know it is bama fans.
