I truly don’t understand the optimism on this guy. Will be pleasantly surprised if he is a solid rotation guy.

Jury is definitely still out on whether Mitchell will even be a significant contriibutor....if he is remotely close to starting, LSU is in trouble.

THANK YOU. Mitchell has literally 7 career tackles but will somehow just come in and start? This is why some of yall are so depressed and delusional when we lose a game. Take the glasses off and be rational. Do i hope some of these guys ball out? Absolutely. I’m not going to call a transfer dangerous that almost has as much career tackles as me. Be reasonable

Pair this with the best secondary we’ve had in the BK era and this defense can be really good

We don’t have any starting safeties… and you think it’s going to be the best secondary he’s had?

Probably depends on Gulliory's health and if they want to limit his reps.

Just need DT/NT who can eat up blocks. This will greatly improve the run D. Weeks and Perkins were constantly getting caught up in traffic and unable to flow to the ball because the DT/NTs were getting eaten alive.

Concern would be reading quarterback run. Weeks was lost as was Perkins. They just couldn’t react and would overrun. There has to be better sound gap discipline.

I can see all three weeks brother rotating in this season. If West is the best defender, but doesn’t have the same level of speed, I don’t care. I just want someone that can make tackles and not lose containment.

Breaux doesn't get nearly enough credit on this board. We struck gold with him.

Its been nice to see offense out of LSU, but man oh man do I miss being a defensive monster. It's so fun to watch us smother an offense.
