Ha. My thoughts exactly. Who the hell is buying "merch and souvenirs" at Tiger Stadium every game? Do you come to the game to go shopping and wine and dine? In 25 years of having season tickets I've never heard of anyone spending $200 to $300 per game on "souvenirs and food and drinks".

He needs to learn to say "no" to his kids every once in a while when they ask for redundant stuff like that.

i am sure LSU is so proud we are now a SWAC school.

People only really stay for certain games. A&M is one of those this season.

I’m gonna sound like an old man but the band barely plays anymore. It’s all piped in music. It has its place for sure but I don’t like that it is the main source of music.

It wasn't in the first half. The fan experience for gamedays has been a problem for years so this is nothing new. I don't leave early but I cannot judge someone who does when they don't want to sit in traffic. I also know people who have retained their season tickets but sell them every game because they don't like how drug infested it has become.

Until some of those issues change you are never going to see a full packed Tiger Stadium outside of marquee matchups. Just accept it and move on.

They have to figure out traffic. It sucks the life out of people.

Out of all the excuses, this is the dumbest
You’re spending $ for game, tailgating, etc. - why not just plan better?

I’ve never sat in multi-hour traffic leaving an LSU game unless there was another reason on roads (wreck, etc)

may as well scrap the band and just turn it all into NFL lite. fn disgrace.

until morons and suckers stop paying and going this shite will only get worse.

game experiences were great when the band played. Glad i got to experience it. looks like i made the right choice being done with season tickets and the gameday trash. and i never left a game early in over 20 years of having tix.

Agreed... it's not like it used to be. I had this same conversation with people at the game. The heyday of 2003-2007 is long gone!!!

it was fun from 2000 to 2012. as far as gameday experiences. before that also but we are just using that window because we won big in that timeframe also.

I was there and it didn't seem empty to me from my viewpoint.

I don't disagree... actually now that I really think about, up to 2017 was good. Seems like the 2019 season did us in, but that season is one for the ages!!!

It’s not just LSU. Ole Miss was much worse. The TV timeouts wear people down.

I know espn doesn’t care and frankly, LSU doesn’t either as long as they’re getting their checks, but holy shite is the in atmosphere experience miserable with the stoppages constantly.

I stayed the whole game with my son and his friend but man, it’s not an enjoyable product when every 4-5 plays there is a minimum 1:30 TV timeout and after every change of possession there is a 3:40 commercial break.

It’s just so clunky and unenjoyable.

Because every time they play, the fans start a STTDB chant, on any and every song.

I stayed until the very end. As do most in the NEZ/SEZ. The West sideline as it always is, was a joke. Same with the student section.

On the flipside, you have to put a quality product on the field. LSU's offense certainly isn't that. I watched the game highlights when I was back last night. It actually looked much better on TV than it did in person.

Band didn't even play at the bottom of Victory Hill. Never seen that.

There are a lot of reasons, but this is my number one. It was 9 o’clock and it was halftime for a game that was supposed to start at 6:45 PM. It’s beyond absurd, especially when you have to drive back to New Orleans.
