2. Dinardo, or Morris Watts, having Herb Tyler pass (incomplete)on 3rd and 3 against Auburn in '97. Cecil Collins was gaining at will that night and if we make that 1st down we can run out the clock. Lost 31-28.

. The one that sticks out in my mind is Josh Booty trying to run over two defenders to get in the end zone at the end of the Alabama game when all he had to do was dump the ball off to an uncovered receiver in the end zone for the win.

I was in Tiger Stadium sitting about 15 rows over the corner of the endzone where this play unfolded. It literally played out in slow motion for me, and I remember every detail. It was excruciatingly painful to watch, and Booty didn't even get close to the goal-line. There was one receiver wide open and jumping up and down in the endzone, and another who was coming across with his coverage a good 3 steps behind him. Booty could have shovel passed it to either one for the TD.

All I could think at the time was that he must have envisioned himself on the cover of the Advocate sports section the next morning with the winning TD rather than his receiver.

Every time someone mentions stupid football plays, this automatically pops into my mind.

Who was there with you? The game was in Tuscaloosa.

That was actually a great play for the Tigers, if Booty completes and wins the game Dinardo gets another year. We lose, Dinardo is fired, Saban than Miles give us 2 BCS Championships. Thanks Josh.

Les Miles first game as LSU coach, having Chris JAckson fake the punt inside our own 10 against Arizona State while we were losing

We weren't losing. It was the first possession of the game, tied 0-0.

lets not act like this play wasn't on speed dial in Pelini's playbook...

Lining up with only six on the line against us last time down in Baton Rouge. IMHO cost LSU the game. Being able to line up correctly is just about as basic as it gets.

First play I thought of was Xavier Carter kneeling on the one against Georgia.

Second was Josh Booty's audible INT against UAB.

Third was the failed prevent D against Iowa in that bowl game.

And you could probably throw in the Jarrett Lee Pick 6 Parade in there somewhere too.
