Hell Ole Miss got at least 5 stops against our offense. I’ll say the D needs to stop at least half Bama’s possessions. Probably will need closer to 7. Turnovers would be helpful.

quote:

If we can get a 17-6 point difference across 3 possessions at any point in the first half I think we win. That's 2tds and a FG in three drives for us and 2 fgs in 3 drives for them. In reality that's only one stop but it gets you a double digit lead and with our offense I think they can hold that cushion. I don't see their defense being able to hold us to one FG in 3 possessions at any point.

Ding ding ding ding.

Bama’s game against UT was the tale of 2 halfs. In the first half, Bama’s D was awful. In the second, they shut UT down. If they’re awful in the first half with us, we better put the hammer down. I’m talking LSU vs. Oklahoma playoff game 1st half hammer.

This game’s second half could very well end up like the Texas game in 19 where the offense would go up by 2 scores, only for Texas to score again, only for our O to put us up 2 scores etc. etc. etc.

I’ll take it.

My exact thought process. Get a two score lead early and the game is in the hands of the number 1 offense in America.
