Whatver happened to R.S. That played the same position you did? Last i heard he was going into coaching to. Did he get a GA job anywhere or did he go the HS route?

Wasn't Hobley a All-American basketball player too?

Yeah I'm sure by the tenth one it feels like a steady jog... Yawn... And I'm sure before they are burnt out the coaches let them skip down the field

Curley did this to them on Sundays AFTER EACH GAME

I don't know about each game, but I know for a fact that he took the team straight off the plane to the practice field after the 1991 Texas A&M game.

It seems we are saying the same thing. I must have misunderstood your original post.

Are both the dline and oline running these "sprints". A guy like Montgomery wouldn't even break a sweat, right?

26 timed 110s aren't easy for anybody.

Everyone on the team runs it. 19 seconds for fatties, 17 for the middle guys, 15 for skilled players

eTA can anyone confirm those times? I may be off for the skilled and middle times

I remember when we ran this in high school. We had 19 for skilled and 21 for our fatties. We ran 10 of them.

That shite got old fast.

It's easy as he'll with time to breathe. I think they are taking 30-45 second breaks then GO GO GO

I have no frame of reference for how tough this is. I wrestled in high school because I was too small for football. Sprints in wrestling were reprieve from live wrestling. Especially when the guy a weight class ahead of you was state champion and a D1 scholarship kid to BYU. I couldn't wrestle down because, well, I was in the lightest weight class.

Not saying one doesn't exist, but this is the most extreme I've seen for linemen, anywhere. You should feel special bison, we are doing it just for you guys.

I am curious about what most conditiong programs use as their regiment. I know everyone in the PAC is beefing up conditioning because the week a game isn't enough. Really, our players say you aren't acclimated to the pace for 2 years.

I've seen a lot of variations of 110 yard sprints, but 26 of them is really crazy. Hopefully it helps our guys.
