Coming into the season I was under the impression that WR was the strongest asset on offense and they have seemingly under perform.

Is this due to coaching or over valued the talent?

With the abundance of talent, I was expecting some creative formations, but we are generally running 2 WR routes...

The WR corp was vastly overrated, simple as we can put it.

Eventually if you give me a conveyor belt of under performing 6'4" freak shows that run like a damn gazelle, I have to acknowledge that it can't always be the kids faults.

This is a big part

I think everyone expected Giles to be a big contributor

People thought Drake Davis might turn the corner and instead he gets booted from the team (and rightly so I might add)

The WRs have dropped waaaay too many passes and have made our offense even worse. Arguably, we could have beat FL if our receivers had not dropped 3 paases in the 4th quarter.

The talent is there. Just bc they look like shite doesn’t mean they’re overrated. It’s coaching and scheme. It falls on O.

Giles is the prime example. He was supposed to be our #1, now he hardly sees the field. Coaches and media overhyped these guys.

Drops and getting open falls 100% on them, and it's been a struggle this year.

They were overrated, sorry, no other way to put it.

Well, he may have been overrated a bit, but he did get behind the Bama defense for a potential huge play, but Burrow underthrew the pass. Remember?

According to the majority of the rant, we had the best receivers in the SEC by far.

The best receivers were in Tiger Stadium Saturday night. Unfortunately, they weren't wearing white.....

We have a deep and talented WR group, but they go missing at times. I don't know if it's QB play or just, once again, scheme. With at least 5 talented WRs, we don't utilize them like we should.

But unfortunately they've definitely looked like freshmen all season.

Should we give Brennan some reps to finish out the year?

That's been the plan all along, he can play in up to 4 games and still redshirt, so no reason to not play him some now.

If they look like freshmen in game 1, fine

If they look like freshmen in game 10, that’s on coaching and not fine

No, they are not that talented. Not for the level we should be at. None of our guys would be in the top 3 wrs for bama. They would be used if on bama's squad but very little.

Route running technique seems to not be taught at all. Except the transfer from Texas....can't remember name. The routes on all the others are rounded off to where they can be easily covered. It seems as tho they think their speed and size are all they need.

Putting your foot in the ground and making sharp cuts and double cuts with a few head fakes are the key to getting open, its usually not speed.
