only 2 turnovers and you lose the game to a team that committed 12 turnovers... oops... only 2 of 14 from behind the arc... any question why we lost?

Not our 3 pt shooting. Not turning them over enough and getting killed on the boards.

LSU needs a second quality post player
But it also is a major concern that LSU saw another suspension from violation from team rules. No this isn't Nikki's fault but it raises a major question on the evaluation of the type of players we recruit to LSU.
how dumb can you be to violate rules prior to the NCAAT?

I totally agree we played to slow, literally waiting for them to get in position ridiculous! Whats done is done.

Yes not enough. 12 is well below our average for TOs forced.

question for all WBB supporters
What should we expect moving forward.
What are the standards in terms of recruiting, post season success etc

Making the tourney is just not good enough. This team should be hosting AND at least in the Sweet 16 every season.

Well, to me the goal should be nothing less than returning to the sustained success we had under Pokey.
We should be making strides toward that on the court and in recruiting.
On paper, Fargas was a good hire. I was happy.
But after seven seasons, it’s obvious that she’s not the coach to get us there.

Totally agree. She is not going to suddenly become a better recruiter. I doubt that there is any stomach to make a change in terms of buyout, particularly after she made the tourney but she is not the answer if LSU wants to compete for a championship.

And if LSU wants to do that it all starts at recruiting. The question everyone needs to ask themselves is do you trust Nikki do haul in a top class for 2019?
Demoss was around for 2017 and 2018 class.
2017 was excellent on paper
Pointer and Farley were two top prospects. Pointer of course is a family member of Nikki. At the moment Farley still is no where near what she was on paper
2018 had major misses from local prospects in NOLA and a couple other prospects
The answer to what you think LSU should do moving forward comes from that question
I am not knocking on anyone but its an honest question
If I am wrong someone should explain

With that said what should LSU do?
Do you think LSU should keep her or move on?
If you keep her do you force her to make major changes?

fire her like last year

Fargas Is one of the highest paid women's coach in the SEC. I can see if she was the lowest paid and got to this level every year. But she has been a waste of money as far as her production. I thought it would be the best hire but she can't come up with anything to encourage good players to come here and play for her especially ones in our own back yard.

I think Demoss is an excellent addition but there seems to be a major cultural problem at LSU as to why Louisianans top prospects consistently leave the state every year.
I am not naive, I understand you can't pick up everyone you want and I know people want to leave and experience life in another area away from home but its a bit alarming to see essentially everyone leave for Baylor, FSU, hell even Kansas every year.
One of the top prospects in the country out of NOLA was an LSU fan but LSU never even contacted her (visit or call). I don't know about the other player who committed to Kansas but the one headed to FSU I do. I would be fine if LSU had another top player lined up but I mean how do you not even contact a unanimous top 50 player in your own state down the road?
LSU's relies on transfers non stop as well, not that picking up transfers are bad but why can't we recruit these people before they are a freshman?

Nikki has a strong personality and some charisma.
I thought she’d come here and be a recruiter a la Nick Saban.
I just do not get why she can’t or won’t recruit.
She needs to be held accountable in this area, for sure.

We need to upgrade the most critical position. Head coach.

Yawn
Wake me up when we let coaching staff go and we hire a top notch high school for for about $200K to run the program
Investment into the program is throwing money down a well

What LSU needs is a new coach. She's had more than enough time.
