Does everyone agree we jump to 4th or 5th, highest ranked one loss team??

I assume we would jump all of the other one loss teams, so if we win, 5 or 6 seems about right
ETA: forgot that TCU and Utah are playing. so, i guess 4 is possible

With a win, yes...probably fall right behind Boise/TCU-Utah winner in the BCS standings given our amazing computer numbers.
And we would eventually pass those two teams in the BCS if we were to win out.
Hell, we could easily finish the regular season at #3 in the BCS behind Oregon and Auburn. I wonder what the hell would happen if Fla/SCarolina beat Auburn in the SECCG in that situation.
The interesting thing that would happen this year as opposed to previous years is the voters could not pass up LSU and jump Oklahoma/Ohio State ahead of us because they would likely aleady have them ahead of us in the human polls. Our computer polls could very well vault a non-SEC champion into the BCSCG.
It would soooo funny if we not only became the first-ever 2 loss national champ,, but then become the first non-conference champ champion, lol.

The interesting thing in that situation would be if Auburn winning the SEC after losing to Bama would be enough to overtake us.
c'mon fun a tigers!

i think its very interesting... if we win out and auburn wins out.
Auburn would go to the BCS Championship.
If our computer ranking is strong enough we move ahead of the rest of the one loss teams and with an Oregon loss late we could end up #2
its wishful thinking but wow would that be awesome.

If getting run over by Cam again is wishful thinking that I will take it!
Of course, I'm sure there would be an adjustment in the scheme. Sorry Dan.

How do you have us winning? In impressive fashion or with the typical heart attack finish?
We would probably be 8-9 tops if everyone else wins out. The biggest difference with our winning would be Auburn possibly taking over #1 from Oregon.

It depends on who is behind us. If we are sitting behind Oregon and AU and AU loses the SECCG. That would not make us number two. Because a team like Nebraska could be sitting behind us and with the Big 12 and the BCS would most likely put them over us because they won their championship game.

I think they made a rule where the teams in the BCS have to be their conference champ, so even if LSU wins out and Auburn loses in the SECCG we can only hope for a BCS at-large game, not the NC.
