Any time TE/RB isn't on route it's max for the play, sometimes chipping and it's different for each formation/play, 6man, 7man and 8man.
Many coaches actually believe in protecting their QBs.

It’s on E. O gotta manage the game and so far so good tbh. He isn’t an offensive mind so it’s on his right hand man. And his career as a HC depends on him.

In some of the fall,camp,videos. The QBs were actually working with running backs on an old style option with a pitch.. not the zone read stuff. One or two option runs would be interesting. Our line has to hold its own or nothing will work.
