as quickly as possible. Orgeron said, while helping the tackles with chip blocks from running backs and tight ends.

“When protection isn’t great, I’ve got to get the ball out of my hand faster,” Burrow said. “When I hold the ball a little longer, they need to be a little more firm up front. We’ve got to work together.”

quote:

Protecting Joe Burrow – from opposition D-linemen, slow-developing plays, and his own DNA – is the primary focus of LSU’s offense heading into Saturday’s top-15 showdown with Auburn.

The Fix: Ed Orgeron announced Monday he would move Austin Deculus from left tackle to right tackle to compete with Badara Traore. Deculus started Saturday on the left in place of Saahdiq Charles, who will return to left tackle against Auburn.

quote:

That said, Burrow’s legs remain a weapon LSU can – and will – use to its advantage. Negating sacks, he carried six times for 30 yards (5.0 YPC) against Southeastern, including his first career rushing touchdown.

The Flipside: “If he's not going to slide, we should teach him some moves other than getting flipped by the safety. I’ve seen him juke around. He’s a natural runner.” - Tight end Foster Moreau

"I don't know if I'll do the Tom Brady baseball slide, but I'll try to take some hits off myself, maybe not lower my head into four or five people every possession.
I didn’t really get any yards on those. I could’ve gotten down much earlier." - #FootballGuy Joe Burrow

Dude needs to slide or get out of bounds

This wouldn’t be an option if I were HC

As often as you post, I would have thought you'd have read Chicken's post about appropriate titles for threads.

Also, this is exactly what everyone on the board was saying in the in-game thread. Many of us want a HC/OC to make those adjustment during the game, not days later.

I'm not seeing where he said this. I just see that article saying he said this.

Is there a transcript of this?

So they are saying that if the Oline doesn’t pass block well, the passing game could suffer? Hmmmm...

You said before you're on the staff. So why are you divulging our gameplan on a message board?

Good thing we have Les Miles’ tight ends coach and The ageless Dick Clark to fix this!

What are the chances that Tiger Ree is actually Coach O?

Wait so Ree really is on the staff ?

Well this explains the constant propaganda from him. The man is just trying to keep his job and the cash king ( O ) in tact.

Advocate reporter suggested in today’s paper that the Oline switch is already working out.

It seems to me these issues would have come to light if only they were practicing against one of the best defensive coordinators in the country.....oh wait.

I think all of us that knew he was a part of the administration and got trashed on here by the ones he fooled are deserving of an apology.

Sure hope so. Burrow has great ability to hit the quick short routes in 1.5 to 2.5 seconds. Very decisive. Very accurate. Throws a catchable short ball (nice touch - doesn't rifle it).

If Burrow can pick them apart with the short ball, the blitzes should all but disappear, and it should open up the run and the longer ball.

Empty backfield with RBs to chip block.

Classic O quote.

Although the saints used to line up Graham and Sproles on either side of the LOS and use them to just bump the DEs into the OTs before running routes. It worked very well.
