This is a much better deal for UF.
The game should just remain canceled.

LSU got screwed in this deal.
A&M game needs to be moved to Saturday.

Was really looking forward to playing Florida at night in TS next year when we have more to play for
We cater to them in what is probably a washed season

Eh...most UF fans were okay with this last week, it was y'all who thought it should be in BR this year and next year.

UF got exactly what they wanted. They get time to heal
injured key players, They get another month of film under new coaching staff, plus improved their chances of winning east in 2017.
LSU gained nothing. We already had a home game on the 19th.
Alleva looks like a chump. Press is gonna roast him.

Maybe if we did it sooner than having to give up a cupcake win in the middle of a brutal schedule
Should have been moved this past weekend then

UF Guy:
No we wanted to play the game in Gainesville on Sunday.

Well, it was supposed to go like this:
2016: @ Gators
2017: @ LSU
2018: @ Gators
Instead, it'll be thusly:
2016: @ LSU
2017: @ Gators
2018: @ Gators
just interchanging '16 & '17.
This allows us to use the infamous "Cholly Mac" excuse if we lose in 2018: "We've just been playing them too much on the road".

Not at the expense of us losing out on a full schedule
This sucks and it sucks for next season

If Joe WA "the man", we wouldn't be playing In Gainesville next two years.

We probably will just be playing a role of spoiler in jeopardizing a tougher schedule next season. Yippie?
It's whatever though. Eventually my rant will dissipate. Oh how I looked forward to a night game in TS next season against UF.
It's just not as exciting when it's not as meaningful for us this season. Even if we win out we still have one less game played. We lose one more game and this game is really just meh.
Congrats on stealing a game from us and getting us at home next season

Playing in Gainsville next year is not a big deal because we had 4 home games in a row in that stretch. One of those will now be away, but we still don't have back to back away games. This was a fair compromise. I don't understand the angst by some of you.
ETA: And now we can all move on........PLEASE

Whew, just pulled my S Ala tickets and parking pass from the Ticket Exchsnge that I was going to let go real cheap.

I am just glad to see Foley pissed, as he obviously is. All this past wk he's been sitting back, doing/saying nothing, as he knew that if the situation did not change, the game was not played, Fla. won, across the board. Now he has to actually step up & do something he did not want to do. And which he would not have had to do had he acted properly in the first place and taken one of LSU's 7 options.

Foley isn't pissed. He's posturing. Foley worked the system like a boss. Alleva got worked.
After the chance to play the game on Sunday or even Monday was off the table, the game should've just been canceled.

Florida AD Jeremy Foley: I was surprised rescheduling talks became this difficult ... Most of all it's a resolution it's good for the SEC.

Foley just won't quit. Acted like a douche last weekend and now he's acting like he's been victimized.
