a little early to be scared

The theme of the whole spring was we couldn't find a center and couldn't block in pass pro. Granted we were missing charles and Dec but its still concerning.

Our OL scares the crap out of me this year, i don't see this as an advantage against any team outside the cupcakes and maybe Arkansas and the agggies.

Miami is replacing guys, and has a couple returning too.

The difference is we started a couple freshman most of the season. We come in with some added experience and depth.

The Oline has a few questions, but I like them over Miami’s right now.

I have given up trying to predict anything with LSU football. Remember Air Canada or Mississippi State or Notre Dame or the Troy frick up?

After the underachieving of 2017 and all the valid question marks on offense, I am going into the game with no idea what to expect. Always hopeful, but with no real grand expectations.

UM has 3 possible first round draft picks on defense.

And LSU doesn't?

I saw an article predicting Greedy as the 6th or 7th overall pick and Devin as the 9th. There is also Rashard Lawrence he will be a high draft pick.

If Fehoko is really the best D-lineman on the team as stated by Pete Jenkins and Dave Aranda he may go before Rashard.

LSU has an advantage in every single unit

Miami wouldn’t beat our second team.

I believe it. I think LSU beats Miami, pulling away in the 3rd or early 4th.

If we can take care of Auburn two weeks later, this season will really be looking good.

Shaq Quarterman is just as good, some say, MAYBE, better than White.

The rest of their guys are experienced and very good.

Most of what I’m reading, they are one of the best bunches in the country, some even say The best.
We’ll see how our guys come together. I’ve been a fan of Divinity since day one. I think he’s a bruiser. White is obviously a freak, and a future top 10 draft pick. Phillips was a huge pick up and he’s experienced now. Hell, even Chaisson can drop back into coverage.

I’m with you, Cliff, I like our crew and by year’s end they’ll been known. Today I push or slightly nod Miami.

truth is when I asked the question why the push I had no idea they had the rep to push White and I our guys

I assumed our front 7 had them covered

What a great game to start things out with

We go up early 7-0 - write that one down!

They come out biting on play action or a pump - we are going to get them with a long one early!

I love Lawrence. But no one is giving him praise or recognition outside of LSU fans. Hes not going to be a first round pick unless he has a break out year and dominates and defensive line might be the deepest position this coming draft.

No, LSU will not win the game. Mark it down and embarrass me later if they do. I stand firm....we will not not win that game. Although, I want them to, not enough talent on the coaching staff to get it gone.
