I'm pretty sure in those past 5 years, we finished each season ranked lower than we started it (I could be wrong, just going on memory). So while being the second best team in the SEC is nice and all, it doesn't feel good falling short of expectations and underachieving every year.

The funny thing is the Rant as a whole is basically stating LSU wasn't good enough to be 2nd, but then again, no one else was while simultaneously constantly propping the SEC as the best conference year in and year out.
It can't be both IMO.

What I meant was rounds like rounds out... As in once this is all mapped out it rounds out to LSU being 2nd. Maybe I used it in the wrong context, sure, but I'm glad you can sleep better at night knowing you called someone a dumbass on a message board.
