Remember that you werent playing the best that the SEC had to offer in those years and USC was pretty formidable with Bush, Leinert, White etc...
The bottom line is the Trojans dont have the same gauntlet to run week in and week out during the regular season. No shame in admitting it right?

I think they are about the same in terms of consistant posters. There are a lot more drive by LSU posters on the USC board when something happens though.

Fair enough.
Makes me hate the way it is set up that LSU got conned out of that title simply because of our East opponent draw.
Still say they should revise the rules to determine the divisional championship solely by record against teams in that division.

There are some very good LSU posters on wearesc.com, and I welcome their presence there. There are "drive by rantards" but they're the exception.

bullshite on that. They got their ire up that we played and won the NC this year and feel they should have been in it over us. I've had the arguments with more than I can even begin to count. They hate us too and they let me know it.

Meh, I used to be a consistant poster (Armagetz), playing a role similar to some here. Not being antagionistic, but still defending the school kind of bit.
I was driven off by the ignorance of the USC form of ranter combined with the blind attacks for daring to support LSU.
I mean shite, one memorable argument was that the high SEC rankings was part of a conspiracy of SunBelt coach voters to boost up their opponents in their conference nationally in order to boost their revenue and therefore their own by means of rent-a-wins payouts.
Took like 3 seconds to prove that many SunBelt coaches voting SEC schools below the average. The mindset still persisted by some, and those who dropped it just pulled another "reason" out of their arse.
There were like 5 posters total on that board that I respected.

You do not understand the BCS as it was then. USC has the AP, which is a distinct NC. Being a part of the BCS had zero to do with the AP being a 100% distinct NC. USC has never ever claimed to have part of the BCS NC.

Yeah you do...In the student population at least, after the Les Miles comments last year, LSU is probably right behind UCLA,ND, and Cal in terms of hatred, and we haven't even played you guys since the 80's

I came from the ESPN message boards and the USC posters there dispise LSU. I'd like to see ONE USC poster there who didn't dispise LSU.

I saw someone with a "Les Miles is a Meauxron" shirt on campus. I thought that was a pretty good one
