I have no issue with the opponent, just that I’ve done this bowl game before and just was there for another sporting event.

Lsu fans will not be up for this because this game has happened multiple times the past 25 years.

That’s all, if you haven’t made the trip in a while… then go. But I bet most of you won’t. Proving my point.

I get it. But, unfortunately, the potential bowl options every year are limited. Of course, LSU could play in the Las Vegas Bowl, or Liberty Bowl, or Music City Bowl. But would you rather LSU have a lesser record to "get" to one of those bowls? I wouldn't. I can visit LV, or Nashville, or Memphis anytime without having a game between very mediocre teams as the reason for doing so.

Unless LSU is in the CFP or one of the NY6 bowls, the Citrus is kind of the next best thing. Not because of the game itself, but because it meant you had a pretty good season relative to the rest of the SEC. Would it have been nice to see LSU in, say, the Orange Bowl? Sure. But given they weren't in a bowl in 2020 and essentially played in a game no one was interested in last season, I'll happily take the Citrus Bowl THIS year.

Purdue may not have a coach if Brohm heads to Louisville

I live 25 minutes from the Citrus Bowl. Definitely looking for tickets but don’t want to pay a premium for them either.

Don't worry. I feel certain that you will have to pay way less than actual ticket price

Purdue’s qb and top wideout could skip it, too. Both could be drafted and both have had injury issues this year

I’m not psyched about this matchup as a Purdue fan. I know that our Top WR won’t play as he’s very banged up on the year. Our QB unlikely to play too as he’s had a rib injury that has lingered most of the year and he’ll want to be combine ready. Top OL decided out of nowhere to transfer today too. Not looking good for us right now.

Add in that we might be down a head coach, this one could be ugly.

Will come down to how our secondary plays and how much pressure we can get.

We are inconsistent at best.
