team stats(minus K per 9 innings) tell a story you can't ignore. Baseball is more of a numbers game than most people think. I REALLY like our chances now....

Under Mainieri, LSU is 4-3 against teams from the Big 12. We've played Baylor, Kansas, and Texas. That included a 3-1 postseason record against the Big 12. We have not played a team from the state of Oklahoma since Paul has arrived.

We have a 5-3 record in the super regional round under Mainieri. Two series wins and one loss.
