NSU led LSU for 75% of the game, NSU beat LA Tech by 6

That's what I try to tell everybody that talks crap about Tech. NSU is very good and could be going to the tournament this year. Playing them at home is tough for anybody. Coach McConathy is one of the best coaches around. His teams are always competitive. LaTech is playing much better now though. I hope Tech, Northwestern and LSU can see some postseason play.

Honestly none of it really matters anymore. LSU was a brand new team when we played them, we had new additions too but we don't have the talent level. There was an ENORMOUS amount of foul calls in that game otherwise Northwestern probably beats LSU (62 fouls). We haven't been playing at our best level in a couple weeks despite basically beating SFA on the road today with Hicks out and Roberson injured.

LSU would beat NSU and LA Tech right now, LA Tech's schedule sucks.

NSU plays a style of basketball that just about no one else in the country plays. Much like the VCU's and George Mason's made their run in the tournament if people studied McConathy's style there would be some big time upsets in the NCAA tournament, it's just hard to do it in Natchitoches.

It does!

Hey I'm pretty sure we lead the SLC in attendance. Prather coliseum isn't the best designed place for basketball but I went to the Southeastern game and their magnificent circular coliseum and they had about 200 people there with about 50 from Natchitoches.

Why are you laughing at the mention of USU? You do realize that they've had a much better basketball program than LSU for over a decade now, on the court and in the stands.

LSU would out rebound LA Tech and JOB would be a tough matchup. I've watched more LTU than LSU. How do the Tigers handle the press? Tech is extremely athletic and plays FCP the entire game.

I really like this Tech team a lot and as an alum, I have to say it's probably the 3rd best Tech team. The Malone team was the best, followed by the P.J. Brown and Anthony Dade Tech team, led by an underrated point guard named Bret Guillory.

Wrong, they have a deep front court. I'm guessing the people shitting on tech have never watched them play. They are a really good team.

I like the Tigers if the game was played on Friday night.

That said, couldn't be happier for Tech. Beat the teams they put in front of you. I'll pull for them in the dance more than any other team!

I don't see how LSU can make a case this late in the season.

RPI:

48. La Tech
91. LSU
