Under 4 to play. 77 61 LSU. Watford at line. Looks better on boards this half. Starting 5. Watford makes 1/2. 78 61. LSU not good at line, Williams misses 2 off rebounding foul. Smart dribbles into traffic, turnover.

Manning with jam off nice outlet. Sloppy at end. 83, 69 LSU. 10 seconds to play. Cold beer time!

Severe lack of effort from Tech in the final minutes there. Game over.

83-70, final.

Not a fair comparison I suppose, but LSU beat Tech by 7 at home last year, and coasted to a 13 point win today.

Tech Picked to finish 5th in CUSA this year. Preseason 8 last year.

Shot much better from 3 this go round.

Bishop played, missed first three shots in first half and don't think he looked to shoot again

Sounded on the radio like Mays and Days were solid, Smart may be a little off. What did you guys think?

Tigers were terrible from the line. Days was huge tonight. With improvement by the freshman as the season goes on, this team could beat anyone in the SEC on any given night. Gonna be another fun year fellas.

It seemed like Watford missed almost every FT today.

Haven't pulled the stats, but seems like it was common for Days to come off the bench and throw down some 3s. I heard he lost some weight and am curious if his speed or stamina has picked up.

I hope we can shoot it better this year. Should get to the line a lot.

In the mean time, it was stated multiple times that Skylar Mays looks much bigger/stronger. That bodes well for him.

That’s what he did tonight. One stretch of the second half he hit two 3s and another deep 2 on three consecutive possessions. He looks to be in better shape than last year.

On behalf of the Tech Family - It really means a lot to our little town that LSU is helping out in the disaster relief efforts. If you've driven through lately, there is still damage around. Tech is ok, and will rebuild. However, the families that live near the school that were hit still need help. THANK YOU TIGERS

Many relatives up that way. The respect is mutual.
