Honestly, the game will be Florida's 4th or 5th biggest game of the season.

I'm glad LSU fans are so enthusiastic about it, though.

Majority of UF fans have already crowned themselves for 09. So I don't think they're worried. And no SEC team should EVER be worried about playing a conference game.

4th or 5th biggest game of the season? Nice call considering it's by far their toughest road game of the season...

i think you're way off base here. If UF has to be worried about 1 game this season it will be LSU despite the fact that we're not in the east.

1. NCG
2. SECCG
3. UGA
4. LSU, maybe...

4th or 5th... pretty much dead on.

Why wouldn't Bama or Ole Miss be #1 since that game could decide the West?

NCG and SECCG are irrelevant for the purpose of this topic. You have to go through the regular season before even thinking about getting to those.

So it's either LSU or UGA. I guarantee you that Florida will take LSU more seriously than UGA.

I like how you make things up to try to make yourself feel correct. Retards can be so cunning. That SLU degree is quite an achievement.

I don't get what's so hard to comprehend here. Why are you even suggesting NCG or SECCG? Neither of those are guaranteed.

Seriously? Already crowning them SEC champs and putting them in the NCG before the first snap of the season?

You can make a case for UGA, but it's a neutral site game so UF will half the stadium for their fans compared to a few thousand for the game in Death Valley. Fact of the matter is Oct. 10th is UF's toughest game of the regular season.

LSU hasn't played a down yet. Lets see how a couple of games pan out before we start proclaiming that we are a great team. Remember last seasons expectations and how that season fared. I'm content with taking a wait and see attitude before I grow around sprouting off how superior the LSU football team is.

Like I last fall, last season's LSU vs. UF game was the first time since ND vs. Miami in 1989-90 that the national champs from the previous two seasons met in the regular season. This season they will do it for the second time in a row ... just like ND and Miami did in 1990.

11.28.87, Miami 24, ND 0 -- Canes win NC
10.15.88, ND 31, Miami 30 -- Miami's only loss; Irish win NC
11.25.89, Miami 27, ND 10 -- ND's only loss; Canes win NC
10.20.90, ND 29, Miami 10 -- Buffaloes beat Irish in Orange Bowl 10-9 to win NC

Just remembering my CFB history...

EDIT: Who remembers this famous call?

That was probably the last time ND had any real speed.
