I saw secondary improve against MSU, I think it continues. D-line gets 2 coverage sacks to set up 4th and long at crucial times to prevent more scoring late in the fourth quarter.

I hate to say it but Florida's defense is going to be too good and LSU's defense is not playing well enough to beat Florida,

Our redzone efficiency will be the story of the game. When we get in scoring position, we cash in. They will keep it close for a while, should stop our run game early.

I think the defense will play better a home. UF will score some, but LSU will pour it on.

Spread is essentially a touchdown. I'll double that. They score at least once a quarter average tack on a field goal for a stalled drive earlyish in the game.

This one has 2003 written all over it in more ways than one.

*2:30PM CBS Game
*Both teams relatively still unknown as to their potential
*UF has a young QB at helm with enormous potential
*Gator Defense has senior leadership on the field that knows how to get the job done

This will be a rather sleepy contest (ie 2009) with the Florida Defense controlling the game's tempo. I don't see LSU's offense able to get much going with the Gator secondary being able to step up when it counts. LSU turns the ball over at least once deep in their own territory to set up a cheap UF score which they struggle to recover. Murphy's running ability and Florida ground game keeps our D on the field a little too long.

They score 17 in the first half but in the second, defense steps up the pressure and we get 2 TO's and hold them to a field goal to win going away.
