I want to play devil's advocate. This will not be Tom Teblow's call to play or not.
This will be Urban Meyer's and the team psycician's.
Urban Meyer is not going to risk his reputation (and career) on one game. If Teblow is not cleared to play he will not play.
Concussions break the mold as far as football injuries.
Now I'm off to watch the Saints go 3-0

dunno. Have to wait until that week. What if Jefferson is hurt in the Ga. game? That would change the answer.

He had a concussion, which can be serious, but I doubt it was a serious as some would like to believe. He will play.
The fact that he vomited after the concussion is already public knowledge and UF had to be VERY delicate in their handling of this.
Teblow has a bright future to say the least, and any impression that UF is putting their program before the safety of their kids is dangerous.

I want the guy in the lineup...if for no other reason to reaggravate the injury..
That wouldn't cause a fight on the field, would it?

I put a j/k after the comment....do not wish any harm to the kid...like him despite the gator uniform!!

No way he is out
EA will give him in a little pregame piece and everything will be alright. NO way he is out.

It is common practice to sit players 2-3 weeks (sometimes longer) who have suffered severe concussions. Also, he had a minor concussion last week. There is a VERY good chance he doesn't play. If he was my son, there would be no fricking chance he plays.

Great, now we're banking on teams best players being injured...

Appropriate for the Tigers to prepare with the assumption that Tebow might not start or play.

No ones banking on it or hoping for it for that matter...but it does change the dynamics ofthe game if hes out...that is all!

i'd figure he's out. that was a bad concussion. i wish he was playing - we need to measure this team against the best.

i just got a call from a friend who lives in Gainesville and said the rumor he is hearing is a cracked vertebrae in his neck
Brantley is good, but he is not Tebow

they should be able to still run all over us and brantley is a very, very good QB
Posted on 9/27/09 at 4:07 pm to SlowFlowPro
yeah, no doubt...Brantley is solid
and in no way does it affect our d-line issues and the advantage in coaching they have

you underestimate how badly he wants to beat us into the ground
hell last year he played conservative on offense all year until LSU, which INCLUDED A LOSS

as well as the fact that ULL's DL owned our OL and UF has the best DL in CFB

the o-line struggles are a complete mystery....it makes no sense to me whatsoever
Posted on 9/27/09 at 4:10 pm to SlowFlowPro
We will beat UF with Tebow
Posted on 9/27/09 at 4:10 pm to LSUfan4444
we have small and weak interior OL and our OTs are having serious problems in pass protection
