I’d love to see a color rush. LSU in gold. Fl in blue. similar to how NCAA let UCLA and USC do it a few years ago.

Empty gold chair backs blend in and aren’t as noticeable when the chairs with actual fans in them happen to be wearing gold.

Yep.
UCLA and USC both wear their "home" jerseys when they play.
Hopefully LSU doesn't break out the abomination that is the gold jerseys. That said, LSU generally wears their traditional G/W/G combo vs. both Florida and Alabama. In fact, I can't remember the last time LSU wore an alternate uniform vs. Florida. Maybe sometime in the 90's with LSU wearing purple pants?

i always thought the gold game was a corny copycat of penn state's whiteout/schools that have blackouts, on par with putting "terrible towels" & similar bs on the student section seats.

I hope folks will do so. I’ve been a little disappointed over the years at LSU Fans refusing to wear the designated color. When I was a student I remember them being very stubborn and headstrong about it.

I remember that game. That had to have been the ugliest LSU uniform certainly in my lifetime. The jerseys were some kind of noxious mustard hue; they weren't gold.
